Active School Shooter

Service Description

This is a 24-hour course designed for those who wish to do Armed Security at a Florida School or Educational Facility. You must already have your class D and G Florida Security Licenses issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture to participate in this active shooter course. This will be 8 hours in the classroom and 16 hours on the range. This is a three-day Course. There will be a practical exercise to complete the course. This is a physical/labor intense class which means you will be put under some mental and physical duress. There is much liability with openly carrying a Firearm, especially on a school campus. In dealing with an active shooter, you will need to be able to function during a traumatic event and be able to control and refine Gross Motors Skills and decision making when engaging with an active shooter. You will learn how to tactically engage a shooter. This class will push you to make a decision and prepare you mentally for the consequences of the actions you take. Also, the legal consequences of not taking action when needed and justified. The cost for this program is $400 Dollars per student. Each Class is limited to 10 Students. At the conclusion of the course, you will be issued a certificate of certification of completion. You must supply your own duty gear and firearm. You must also bring 350 rounds of Ammunition. If you do not have a Firearm and duty gear, we can supply them to you as an additional rental cost of $50.00. Ammunition is $20.00 per box if purchased through us. There will be a $100 Dollar deposit online when registering for the course and a $300 dollar charge the first day of the Course. The $100 dollar deposit is non-refundable and secures your seat in the class.
