Service Description

This is a 3-hour Firearms Safety Course that will Certify you to get your Florida CCW License and also train you under Florida's new Constitutional Carry Law that will go into Effect July 2023. With this new Law you do not need training of any kind. We feel that makes someone very dangerous not knowing our Firearms Laws, and not being familiar with a handgun can land you or someone in your family in a Florida jail very quickly. Gun safety in Florida is a concern for most. Proper training and storage of a Firearm is paramount. You will learn the Florida Law on Carrying a concealed Firearm. The proper storage of a Firearm under Florida State Statue 790. You will learn when and where you can carry a Firearm. You will also certify with several different Handguns at our Outdoor Firearms Range. You will become familiar with the Wheel Gun and the Semi-Automatic Pistol. This course is being sponsored not only by the FLSD, but by Freeman Security Services Inc., and Blackstone Investigative Institute. All three entities feel that a Firearms Safety Course should be affordable for all and have absorbed the normal costs for Florida Residents. The only cost you will pay is a $10.00 processing fee that will cover the printing of your certificates and ammunition usage. You will be in the classroom for two hours and go to our Firearms Range for one hour. At the conclusion you will be given your certificates of completion. The classroom training will be at Freeman Security 3545-A Lake Alfred Road Winter Haven Florida, 33881. The Firearms Range is located at 0 East Lane Haines City Florida 33844. You can see photos of the range at Www.FreemanSecurityServices.Com. All attendees must have a phot ID at the time of arrival to class and all attendees must be 21 years of age. The three hour classes are on going so feel free to sign up for one through our site. Once paid, a member of our staff will contact you to see what class Day and Times are good for you. All current members of FLSD will have no processing fee costs.
